Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah!
*Does a little jig*
I won! I won! I won the poetry writing competiton! I came second. I'd have posted the poem but I actually threw the rough sheet in the dustbin after the competition cause I thought it was horrible and that I wouldn't win, so what's the point.
But I did!
Hahahaha.
Sam had gone for the Geography quiz the same day, but they came last. And I, on the other hand, won. Hahahaha.
I'm tooooooo good. I'll put the poem up when I get it back. I've asked my English teacher for it.
P.S. It was on-the-spot. I'm too good. :)

Right.
The difference, girlie, lies in the fact that while you're good at poetry (why else did I give in your name?), I didn't even do anything for the Geography quiz. Plus, dates are History. They should have had no place in there. Plus, it was all 9th and 10th NCERT anyway. So, you know, it wasn't a good quiz anyway. You were just supposed to memorise the books.
come on now. it's unfair to compare a ruddy geography thing with an english poem competition.
but congrats! it got quite funny when namya went: oh, subohi won the 2nd prize! oh, hi subohi!
:)
Lol. Congrats!!!
"... I didn't even do anything for the Geography quiz."
Do you consider that an excuse? 'Cuz it's not.
Thank you, thank you people!!
sam, if it was all "9th and 10th syllabus", there's more of a reason that you should have won. Tch tch.
oh yeah, sakshi, i think i saw you the first time you came to meet sam. I was with her but left soon. I think it was you cause sam said she was meeting someone whose blog she read.
yeah. i remember. i didn;t recognize her at that time, and ur entire group was there. it was only when prachi came(i knew who she was) that she introduced me to sampoorna.
entire group? I just remember me and sam
i think there were 4-5 people.
seriously? Who all? Do u kno the names?
Wow.
Abbey yaar, you tell me if you remember the latitudinal and longitudinal extent of India.
In a QUIZ, you ask GK stuff. In a TEST, you ask stuff from the textbooks.
Yeah, valid excuse, it is.
Namya will definitely know that. Trust her to know stuff like this.(My head's gonna get chopped off for this comment)
Nay, I do not know all the names. Out of sampoorna's friends, I just know you and Lipika and Prachi and a few more. But I do not remember nothing. :P
Hmm. Latitudinal extent, 6 degrees 4' N to 37 deg 6' N. Longitudinal extent 68 deg 7' E to 97 deg 25' E.
I'm sure that's correct. Almost.
Btw, this is Class 6 geogo.
So, you see, it ain't no excuse.
Prachi, not all of us remember everything they have taught us like, ever!!
Yeah, it's geography.
Who cares
seriously. Geogo stinks.
Actually the questions in a quiz should be workable on the spot by a sharp witted individual and some prior knowledge should be tested.
It wasn't a well designed quiz at all; the only question I remembered was the longitudinal extent and some of the common sense ones (I made educated guesses).
The hallmark of a quiz should be that the answer have to be in the questions themselves, one liners work only on the telly when you tell the guy or give him some idea what are you going to ask him.
In short, the rule of the thumb is that all of them should have DON'T PANIC written on 'em in large friendly letters......
Sigh. We see after-effects of the guy re-reading h2g2
